Orthopedic Surgery Residency

Beaumont's Orthopedic Surgery Residency program provides an exceptional educational environment producing orthopedic surgeons who excel both academically and surgically.

We are committed to combining outstanding academics with the volume and varietyof outpatient and surgical cases needed to prepare residents for a practice or continued training. This program services as a stepping-stone to both excellent practice opportunities and postgraduate fellowship programs.

Orthopedic Fellowships

  • Beaumont's Surgery of the Spine Fellowship is one of only 14 accredited Surgery of the Spine Fellowships in the country. Our program offers an excellent atmosphere for producing well-qualified and technically proficient orthopedic surgeons.
  • Our Sports Medicine Fellowship provides comprehensive exposure to all areas of operative and non-operative sports medicine including arthroscopic and open surgery of the shoulder, knee and elbow.
  • Beaumont's Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction Fellowship offers subspecialty training in the areas of adult reconstructive procedures, minimally invasive and computer-assisted surgery and more.
  • The scope of our Adult Shoulder and Elbow Reconstruction Fellowship covers the management of primary and secondary degenerative conditions of the shoulder and elbow and more.

All of our fellowships are professionally accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
